Adding Bandwidth to Your Account

Bandwidth is a measurement of the amount of data allowed to pass between a user’s Web site and the rest of the Internet.
In general, if you have a commercial site or a site that generates a lot of traffic, you should consider getting additional bandwidth. If you have a basic, personal site that you have set up for friends and family, you probably do not need to order additional bandwidth.
To Add More Bandwidth to Your Hosting Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, select Hosting.
- Click on the name of the hosting account you want to modify.
- In the Hosting Account Details section on the right, click Upgrade/Downgrade Hosting Account.
- In the Upgrade/Downgrade Hosting Plan section on the right, select the checkbox next to Additional Data Transfer.
- Select the additional amount of bandwidth (data transfer) you want to add to your hosting account.
- Click Continue.
- Continue through the checkout process.
