Enabling Preview DNS

Preview DNS lets you test your Web site prior to launch to ensure it displays and behaves properly on our hosting servers before modifying your domain's DNS record. This is beneficial when you are setting up a Web site for a domain that is currently active with another hosting provider.

Preview DNS is initially enabled for two weeks and can be extended indefinitely in two-week increments.

To Enable Preview DNS

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, select Hosting.
3. Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
4. In the Account Summary section of the Hosting Control Center, next to Primary Domain DNS, click View.
5. If Preview DNS is not already enabled for your account, click Enable. If it has expired, click Renew.
