Google® Webmaster Tools provides you with access to data related to how Google has crawled and indexed your Web site. This free feature:

  • Shows you Google's view of your site.
  • Helps you diagnose site issues.
  • Lets you share information with Google to help improve your site's visibility in search results.
  • Provides you with crawl statistics, recent queries, errors, and other information that Google collects about your site.

We have partnered with Google to provide you with a special Webmaster Tools account you can use to access your Web site data upon creation of your Shared Hosting account. Once you have enabled your Google Webmaster Tools account, you can access it through the Hosting Control Center, which allows you to:

  • View a list of all the domains associated with your Shared Hosting Account.
  • Check which domains have had their ownership verified with Google.
  • Request ownership verification of a domain.
  • Launch the Google Webmaster Tools account.

Webmaster Tools is largely for obtaining information and is not used to manage your site. The only action you can perform on a domain in the Webmaster Tools domain list is to verify ownership of your domains with Google.

NOTE: Because your Google Webmaster Tools domain list will contain all of the domains associated with the account, it has the potential to be quite long. Therefore, Webmaster Tools includes standard paging and sorting controls for easy navigation of domains.

For assistance enabling your Google Webmaster Tools account, see Creating a Google® Webmaster Tools Account.
