Backing up Your Domain in Plesk

If you have FTP Backup enabled on your dedicated server, you can use Plesk to back up your domains.

To Backup Your Domain in Plesk

  1. Log in to Plesk as administrator.
  2. On the Domain administration page for the domain you want to back up, click the Backup icon.
  3. Click the Create Backup icon.
  4. Select Create Backup File and Store on Remote FTP Server.
  5. In the FTP server field, type in the IP address for your FTP Backup server.
  6. Type in the user name (login) and password for your FTP Backup server.
  7. In the Comments field, type in a description for your backup file.
  8. Click Back Up.

NOTE: You can find the IP address, user name, and password for your FTP Backup server in your Dedicated/Virtual Dedicated Server Manager.
