Can I Install DotNetNuke in my Root Folder?

No, but you can create a meta redirect tag in your index file to forward site visitors to the correct folder.

An example of a meta redirect would be:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;url=http://www.coolexample.com/site_to_forward_to.html">

This example would create a forward after five seconds to http://www.coolexample.com/site_to_forward_to.html.
