Uploading Your Sound File to Quick Blogcast

You can upload sound files up to 100MB in size.

To Upload Your Sound File to Quick Blogcast

  1. Open Quick Recorder.
  2. Click Upload at the bottom of the Quick Recorder. The Windows Explorer Open window displays.
  3. Locate and select the file you want to upload and then click Open. The File Conversion window opens.
  4. The file name for your sound file populates the Name your podcast episode field. Optionally, you can enter a new name for your podcast episode.
  5. Deselect the Delete WAV file after conversion checkbox if you want to keep your original WAV sound file saved on your computer.
  6. Optionally, you can adjust the Quality of your podcast by moving the slider to Low, Mid, or High.
  7. Click OK to convert your WAV file to an MP3 file and save it in the same location.

    Note: You must convert your WAV file to an mp3 in order to upload it to Quick Podcast.

  8. Click Upload.
    • If you are already logged in to Quick Podcast, Quick Podcast opens and the Add Podcast page displays.
    • If you are not logged in, the Quick Podcast login page displays. Enter your username and password, and then click Login.
  9. From the Manage Podcasts menu, select Add Podcast. The Upload page displays.
  10. In the Upload Media File (mp3 and mp4) field, click the Browse button.
  11. Locate and open the episode you want to upload, and then click OK.
