Quick Recorder allows you to select the source of your audio input. Most often, your computer will detect any sound cards you have installed and will automatically select a default sound source. However, you have the option to select an alternate input source.

To Select a Recording Source

  1. Open Quick Recorder.
  2. From the File menu, select Recording Source. The Recording Source window displays.
  3. From the Recording Driver list, select the hardware you want to use as your sound source.
  4. From the Recording Source list, select the type of device you are plugging into your hardware to record through.
  5. Click Update.

Note: Quick Recorder will retain your settings for the next time you are ready to record. You can reconfigure the settings at any time, if necessary.
