Once you have installed a certificate into your browser, you may want to export for other uses such as backing it up or copying it to use on another computer.
To Export Your Certificate Using Firefox
- In Firefox, click Tools and select Options.
- In the Encryption tab of the Advanced section, click the View Certificatesbutton.
- Select the certificate you want to export and click Backup.
- Name your file and select PKCS12 Files from the Save as type drop down.
- Click Save.
- Create a strong password and click OK.
When completed you will receive a confirmation that it has been successful.
