If you registered your domain with another registrar, you can still manage your domains through us using the Off-site DNS feature in our Domain Manager. You add your domains and change your nameservers at your current registrar (mns01.domaincontrol.com and mns02.domaincontrol.com), and then you can manage your zone files and records through Off-site DNS. For more information about managing your zone files, see the help topics in Working with Total DNS.

To Add a Domain to Off-site DNS

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. From the Tools menu, select Off-site DNS.
  4. Click Add Off-site DNS.
  5. In the Domain name field, enter your domain name.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK again.

To finish setting up Off-site DNS to manage your domain's DNS, you must update the domain's nameservers with the following nameservers:

mns01.domaincontrol.com
mns02.domaincontrol.com

For more information about updating your nameservers, contact your current registrar.
