Creating a Network or Web Folder Link to Online File Folder in Windows Explorer

There are two ways to create a Folder link to Online File Folder using Windows Explorer. You can click Open as Web Folder in the upper right corner of the Online File Folder interface and your Online File Folder opens as a Web Folder in Windows Explorer. Or follow the procedure below to set up a Network Folder link.

To Create a Network or Web Folder Link to Online File Folder Using Windows Explorer

  1. Right-click on the Start button, and select Explore.
  2. In the Folders list, right-click on My Network Places, and select Open.
  3. In the Network Tasks menu, click Add a network place.
  4. In the Add Network Place Wizard window, click Next.
  5. Select Choose another network location, and then click Next.
  6. In the Internet or network address field, type https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/webdav/index.php/your_user_name/, where your_user_name is the user name for your Online File Folder account, and then click Next.
  7. Enter your Online File Folder user name and password, and then click OK.
  8. In the Type a name for this network place field, enter the name you want to use to identify this folder, and then click Next.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. If prompted, enter your Online File Folder user name and password to access the folder.
