Why is the Web-Based Email Rich Text composer not loading properly in IE6 and IE7?

If you are using Web-Based Email in Internet Explorer 6 or Internet Explorer 7 and have Full-Time SSL Mode enabled, your rich text composer may fail to load properly. To load the rich text composer again, refresh the page by pressing F5 or Ctrl + R. If the rich text composer still does not load, do one of the following and then click Compose:

To Disable Full-Time SSL Mode

  1. If the Compose New Email window is open, click Cancel.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. On the Display Settings page, in the Other Settings section, clear the checkbox for Use Full-Time SSL Mode.
  4. Click OK.

To Modify your Internet Security Settings

  1. If the Compose New Email window is open, click Cancel.
  2. In your Web browser, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Security section, clear the checkbox for Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Refresh the window by pressing F5 or Ctrl + R.
