Restoring Zone File Records

If you make a mistake during your zone record setup, you can restore the default settings and start over. Restoring changes your zone record to our default settings and deletes additional zone records.

NOTE: You cannot reset A (Host) records.

To Restore Your Default Zone Records

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. Click the domain you want to modify.
  4. In the Total DNS Control section, click Total DNS Control and MX Records.
  5. Click Reset to Default Settings for the record you want to reset.
