To use the Domain Manager to update contacts for your .ca domain, you must confirm the changes through the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA). However, you do have the option of allowing us to automatically apply the requested changes to your .ca domains without you having to approve the update through your CIRA registrant account.

NOTE: If you transferred the domain to us from another registrar, you may have authorized your former registrar to apply requested changes to your .ca domains. You should consider using the following procedure to update this permission to allow us to automatically make changes to your .ca domains.

To Authorize Us to Automatically Make Changes to Your .ca Domains

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
  3. Click Preset Profiles.
  4. In the grid, click the .ca profile.
  5. Click .CA Info.
  6. Select Change Without Approval, and then click OK. CIRA sends a confirmation email to the email address associated with your CIRA registrant account.
  7. Log in to your CIRA registrant account and confirm the request to modify your Change Without Approval status.
