How do I configure Smarthost on my Windows server using Mailenable?

To configure Smarthost on a Windows server using MailEnable:

  1. Log in to your Windows Server Remote Desktop as "administrator"
  2. Click on Start and go to All Programs.
  3. Under the MailEnable menu, select MailEnable Administrator.
  4. Expand the MailEnable Management directory.
  5. Expand servers.
  6. Expand localhost and select Connectors.
  7. Right-click on SMTP and select properties.
  8. Click on the Smart Host tab to display the Smart Host settings window.

    NOTE: You must enable the postmaster mailbox before you can access the Smart Host settings.

  9. Select the checkbox for Smart Host Enabled.
  10. In the IP/Domain field, type k2smtpout.secureserver.net.
  11. Click OK and close MailEnable.
