Working with Inventory

Keeping track of your Quick Shopping Cart inventory is an important aspect of running an online store. You can manage your inventory levels by choosing to inventory products when you add them on the product page. You can also elect to permit backordering of products, set your initial inventory level, and create a low inventory threshold.

Inventory is assigned on the Product pages.

To View Inventory

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. In the Quick Shopping Cart list, click Open next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.
  4. From the Catalog menu, select Inventory.

Your product inventory is displayed on the page.

NOTE: Click a product to go to its respective product page.

To View Low Inventory

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. In the Quick Shopping Cart list, click Open next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.
  4. From the Catalog menu, select Low Inventory.

Your product inventory is displayed on the page.

NOTE: Low inventory thresholds are established on a product-by-product basis. You can elect to receive an email message each time the low inventory threshold is reached.
