Google Product Search™ is a Google® service that provides an easy way for shoppers to find information about products online. Think of it as an extension of Google that searches for products.

The Google Product Search tool is available on the Google home page, and since millions of people use Google every day, chances are good that someone is looking for the products you are selling. Listing products on Google Product Search is free.

Quick Shopping Cart collects your product information and builds the product feed file. Next, it sends the feed file directly to the Google Product Search search engine through a data feed. Every time you publish your store, Quick Shopping Cart sends an undated product feed file to Google Product Search.

Working with Google Product Search

Generate a data feed from your Quick Shopping Cart product catalog with the click of a button. The Google Product Search Data Feed tool does it for you. Import your products' details from your catalog and create a data feed suitable for Google Product Search. Quick Shopping Cart handles all importing, processing, and exporting. It even strips HTML for inclusion.

Merchant Requirements

To be included in Google Product Search, merchants must meet the following criteria:

Shipping
You must be able to ship your products throughout the United States.
Product Pricing and Ordering
Your ordering process needs to be clearly defined and easily navigable. Product pages must list prices in U.S. dollars.
Site Functionality
Your site must be launched and functioning. Product pages must not require user login or registration to view. Your site cannot have a robots.txt file that prevents Google from crawling the product images directory on your site. Your site must be in English.
