Setting up Third Party Clients

If you enabled Remote Blogging, the next step is to set up your third-party client with the information it needs to work with your Quick Blogcast account. For more information about setting up Remote Blogging, see Setting Remote Blogging Options.
You need to know the following information to set up your third-party client:
- API
- MetaWeblog
- URL
- http://coolexample.com/MetaWeblog.aspx, where "coolexample.com" is your domain name.
- Port
- 80
- HTTPS
- No
- User name
- For blog owners, enter the user name you created when you set up Remote Blogging. For authors other than the blog owner, use your regular user name, which is the user name you use to log into Quick Blog.
- Password
- For blog owners, enter the password you created when you set up Remote Blogging. For authors other than the blog owner, use your regular password, which is the password you use to log into Quick Blog.
