Deleting Email Messages

When you no longer need to save an email message in Web-Based Email, you can delete it from your email account.

NOTE: Unless you have enabled the setting that selecting Delete purges the email from your account, the deleted email will go to your Trash folder. To remove it entirely, you need to purge your Trash folder. For more information on purging your Trash, see Purging Email Messages in Web-Based Email.

To Delete an Email Message

  1. Click the name of the folder that contains the message you want to delete.
  2. Select the check boxes of one or more email messages.
  3. Click Delete.
