Moving a Message While Creating a Folder

While organizing your email messages in Web-Based Email, you can create folders and subfolders at the same time as moving your message.

To Move a Message and Create a Folder

  1. Click the name of the message and, while holding your mouse button down, drag it to the New Folder hyperlink.
  2. Release the mouse button.
    The New Folder dialog box displays.
  3. In the Folder Name field, type the name of the folder.
  4. To make the folder a subfolder, from the As a sub-folder of list, select the main folder.
  5. Click OK.
